The 22.04 LTS Ubuntu release was preferred instead of the 22.04 LTS after tests, in order to solve all the issues related to Fastboot and USB 3.0: you will connect your Xperia Sailfish OS device and it will be correctly recognised by the Fastboot version installed.

For some reason the 24.04 LTS version causes the volume size issue while flashing, check the Jolla forum for more literature. Also the 22.04 release is slightly lighter and more matching this tiny laptop.
